Here’s a selection of our heritage trails, all originally created with the support of grants from the Heritage Council of Ireland.

The Monaincha Heritage Trail

This is an 8-stop tour of the ancient monastic site of Monaincha on the outskirts of Roscrea, in north Tipperary, Ireland.


The Roscrea Heritage Trail

This nine-stop audio guided trail of this north Tipperary town, from Castle Street to Bunker’s Hill is also a stroll through local ancient history to its more modern agricultural heritage.


The Daingean Heritage Trail

This 12-stop audio-guided trail, narrated by local historians John Kearney and James Scully, brings us on a journey of history and heritage in Daingean


The Metals Heritage Trail

This 11-stop trail takes us through the layers of local history from the Martello Tower to the quarry and up to a hilltop, view of the harbour below.


The Martello Towers Heritage Trail

The Martello Heritage Trail brings the listener on a wonderful audio tour of the great collection of Martello towers along Ireland’s east coast, from Bray to Balbriggan.


The East Pier Heritage Trail

This was our first ever audio trail, produced before smartphones and then developed into an app for Dun Laoghaire Council. This 15-stop audio-guided trail, out and back, on Dún Laoghaire’s main pier takes us on a journey that includes tragedy, bravery, wildlife, as well as poetry, music, and engineering.
